Pleasant JNBS experience
published: Tuesday | March 28, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I FEEL compelled to write to you to highlight a very pleasant experience that my husband and myself had at the Half-Way Tree branch of the Jamaica National Building Society.

On Friday, March 17, we went to the branch in question to transact business. Upon reaching the door, I had the urge to use the restroom.

I then turned to the security guard on duty and inquired of the customer's restroom. The direction that I got next was startling. However, due to the fact that I really needed to go, I duly followed the directions.

CONCERNS PARAMOUNT

After using the restroom, I had some concerns which I voiced to the very professional and attentive customer service representative.

What happened next was unbelievable. The representative excused herself after listening to my concerns and summoned the head of the relevant department and, before I knew it, my mobile phone was ringing and the customer service manager was on the other end.

She, along with the representative, were exceptional.

They made me feel that my concerns were paramount. They made me feel extremely well and proud of being a member of their society. The manager even followed up and updated me with the plan of action which I thought was excellent.

In this day and age where good customer service is hard to come by, after having that experience, there is no possible way that I could not highlight this particular one. Big up JNBS and continue to do what you all are doing.

I am, etc.,

TAMEIKA WYNTER
