About the condom
published: Tuesday | March 28, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I COULD not have disagreed more with Dr. Peter Figueroa suggesting that children in school be taught how to use a condom.

Children are sent to school to acquire a good education at the expense of their parents and taxpayers, for their future development and not to be taught about the correct fitting of a condom for sexual purposes.

Such a suggestion will only encourage sexual activities in school, rather than discourage it.

I sincerely hope that the Ministry of Education will reject this suggestion in its entirety and treat it with the contempt it deserves.

I am, etc.,

ANDREW A. MCCREATH

Perth Road,

Mandeville
