THE EDITOR, Sir:
THIS LETTER is addressed to all Jamaicans. We as a people have always stood tall throughout history, for the things we do that are positive and things that might be deemed as negative. Today we make positive political history, by selecting a woman to run our country, Mrs. Portia Simpson Miller. We P.N.P.UK., will strive to work with her, and for her, by offering her and the party positive support in the development of our country Jamaica.
We are of the opinion that it is time for us all, whatever economic level, to take whichever positive steps are necessary to regain the good name of our land JA. We hope and wish that all citizens, no matter which party they support, will think positive and come forward. Let's work together to build back our great nation. Sister Portia, nuff respect, we love you, and respect your role, because when the going did get 'tuff', you stood your ground like the many sisters and brothers before you. We now must look forward; backward never.
I am, etc.,
