ROSEAU, DOMINICA (CMC):
Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal Brian Alleyne says there is nothing wrong with the jury system deciding criminal cases in the region.
Justice Alleyne, who is in Dominica to preside on matters before the court, said he believes there is no better system than having criminal cases heard by a jury.
His comments follow concerns raised here at the acquittal of a number of persons on murder-related charges.
