BAHAMAS: Bahamas says Cuban migrants fled detention

NASSAU, BAHAMAS (AP):

Three Cuban migrants have eluded Bahamian authorities after escaping from a detention centre, an immigration official in the island chain said yesterday.

The men cut through the fence at the Carmichael Road Immigrant Detention Centre early Sunday and remain at large, Bahamas Immigration Director Vernon Burrows said.
