RECENTLY AN agreement with Jamaica's National Gallery and the Embassy of Spain was formalised.
The embassy will fund programmes to increase the exposure of young Jamaican artists and to hone their talents.
Art fanatic Jesús Silva, who also happens to be Spanish Ambassador to Jamaica, inked the deal with director of the gallery, Dr. Jonathan Greenland. The ambassador also handed over a cheque of US$3,000 to start the ball rolling. The agreement will also facilitate the development of research material and the coordination of cultural activities.
Here are a few snapshots from the event.
