HOT ON the heels of "The Bold and the Beautiful's last-minute reprieve for Felicia almost but not quite bringing her back from the dead comes the show's addition of actor Patrick Duffy to its cast as Brooke's father, Stephen Logan. Scheduled to debut on April 18, Stephen is brought back to town by Ridge, as part of his attempt to persuade Brooke to be with him rather than Nick. Duffy is well known to nighttime serial viewers for his 13 years as Bobby Ewing on Dallas. He subsequently appeared on the series Step by Step and Touched by an Angel.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
A familiar face is returning to General Hospital this spring. Armed with a new contract, John Ingle returns to play Edward Quartermaine. Ingle left the show in 2004 after the character was shifted to recurring status, and he has also portrayed Mickey Horton on Days of our Lives. Also in line for a trip back to Port Charles is Emma Samms, proving that emotions between Holly, Luke and Robert are far from cool.
