Nothing wrong with PM seeking divine guidance
published: Monday | April 10, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

LET ME just take time out to respond to a letter by Mr. Wesley Ebanks, captioned 'Mr. Knight was dead right.'

To me, it seems as if Mr. Ebanks, living in Canada, has lost track of where he is coming from. He has adapted the American way of life and way of thinking.

How can it be so bad to pray about what you want to do? Is it so wrong to seek divine guidance? I know he is only expressing an opinion, but please Mr. Ebanks, don't blaspheme against God.

The Bible says, 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things will be added unto you.'

Mrs. Portia Simpson Miller wasn't elevated to that post by mere chance; it was a divine appointment and she has to do the work she was sent to do. So Mr. Ebanks, don't criticise.

Just sit back and watch the hand of God manifested and do things that Jamaicans thought could never be done.

I am, etc.,

PROPHET LENNOX ROWE
