A cry for women
published: Tuesday | April 11, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE STOCK Farm Road Health Centre in Golden Spring west rural St Andrew is an abomination. The building is scarcely habitable and the nursing and lactating mothers from the area are demeaned, having to breast feed among other bodily functions on the road bank.

We have written to Minister John Junor about this repeatedly and now we hope that Horace Dalley will respond. If not, then we cry to Dr. Glenda Simms, Bureau of Woman's Affairs, Hon Portia Lucretia Simpson Miller, the caucus of women in Jamaica, and all who will espouse the dignity of our women.

Don't let the last vestige of our humanity slip us by.

I am, etc.,

DERRICK SIMON

President Stock Farm Road

Citizens Association
