THE EDITOR, Sir:
THIS IS a brief note of encouragement to our newly-installed Prime Minister, Hon. Portia Simpson Miller. Please do not be distracted by all the negative comments now, for there are many who do not share in your vision of a better and brighter Jamaica but who are merely opposed because they may have perceptions of a 'dent' in their own personal agenda.
The Almighty's call on your life and your present appointment as PNP president and Prime Minister of Jamaica should come as no surprise, likewise, the upheaval and up-stirring it now causes. For those who may not have known, the Church has been praying for this for a long time now, and more so in an accelerated way over the past decade.
GOD HAS PREPARED YOU
Madam PM, your time of ascension is now. God has been preparing you for such a time as this, and only you will know all the circumstances and experiences that he took you through to bring this about. Remember, as christians, we live by faith and not by sight, so do not be disheartened by the status quo, but be encouraged by what will be, for as the saying goes 'God nah sleep', and he will not let your efforts bring no rewards.
I will pray that you receive wisdom, just like Solomon, and that you may easily discern who is with you from who is against you. Your support and backative is strong, for who God bless none shall curse.
Keep in touch with the Father and he will direct your paths. God bless you.
