NICOLE GREY IN ESSENCE
published: Monday | April 17, 2006

PULSE MODEL and M.A.C. campaign girl Nicole Grey appears in the fashion feature in the current issue of Essence magazine.

Nicole, who has spent the past couple of weeks working out of the Michele Pommier agency in Miami Beach, is also signed to Karin in New York. Nicole, the third Pulse model to capture the coveted M.A.C campaign, is a model on the move and certainly one to watch in upcoming months. Seeing herself in Essence print is a dream come true for this young product of Pulse's Caribbean Model Search. "I have always wanted to do Essence," she said, "from the days when Pulse models Juline Samuels, Lois Samuels, Nikki Vassell and Althea Laing appeared on Essence covers."

FIERCE DETERMINATION

Nicole is now being compared to the likes of supermodel Karen Alexander and her commitment has certainly started to pay off. Her fierce determination and desire to succeed in the international modelling industry is well known to all who know her. She was the cover girl for SHE's hot bikini issue last summer and has done several editorials for the magazine.

Nicola was discovered in the Pulse's Caribbean Model Search and placed in the top 5 of the competition in 2002, just behind industry superstars Jaunel McKenzie and Nell Robinson. Like so many of Pulse's stars before her, Nicola was first seen by the international fashion industry at Caribbean Fashionweek, where she undoubtedly made her mark. Pulse is naturally very happy and proud of her success.
