N.B. The option to apply for 'Follow A Path' or 'Venue Combination' packages will only be available in Phase 1.

OUTLINE OF TICKETING APPLICATION PROCESS

1. An applicant completes and submits a Ticket Application Form either online or at a Ticket Centre in one of the nine Host Venues.

2. At the time of application, payment will be required in full for all tickets being applied for. Ticket Centres will accept cash, credit card or debit card. Only Visa or MasterCard credit cards can be used for online applications.

3. All payments will be authorised at the time of application (transactions will appear on the applicant's next credit card or debit card statement).

4. The applicant will receive a Confirmation of Application verifying that their application has been received.

This Confirmation of Application will either be forwarded by email or issued at the Ticket Centres.

5. Ticket Allocations will take place in August. For an undersubscribed match, all applicants requesting tickets for that match will receive tickets. For an oversubscribed match, a ballot will be held (among all applicants requesting tickets for that match) to randomly allocate tickets.

6. At this time, the applicant will receive notification of which matches they have OR have not been allocated tickets. This notification will be forwarded via email or post.

7. Applicants will receive a full refund by early September for the value of any unallocated tickets.

8. A credit for the value of unallocated tickets will automatically be applied to the credit card used at the time of application.

9. Cheques for the value of unallocated tickets will be issued to applicants who paid by cash or debit cards.

10. Seat allocations will be done in December 2006 and tickets will be printed and prepared for distribution.

11. To minimise possible ticket losses, tickets will be available approximately four (4) weeks before the Event. Residents of Host Venues can collect their tickets at the Ticket Centres or have them couriered to them subject to courier fee. International purchasers will have their tickets couriered to the address indicated on the application form and will be required to pay a courier fee.
