Captain Richards Memorial

TROPICS AND Circus Circle captured the female and male divisions of the Captain Milton Richards Memorial hockey tournament last weekend.

In the first final, Tropics' women dethroned defending champions St. Andrew 1-0, while Circus Circle edged JDF 2-1 in the men's clash.

This year's tournament had sponsorship from TNT Equipment Engineering and provided sectional awards for: The best goalkeepers, Lorie-Ann McIntosh (St. Andrew) - Female and Sheldon Brown (JDF) - Male; Top goalscorers, Andrea Hoo-Thomas (Sharpe's) and Sherman Brown (Circus Circle); Tournament MVPs, Shakella Elliott (Tropics) and Lance Corporal Martin (JDF).
