New PM - a good idea

THE EDITOR, Sir:

CONGRATS TO the clever Jamaicans who have elected Mrs. Simpson Miller as the new president of the PNP and subsequently the new Prime Minister of Jamaica. I believe it is the best thing that has happened since Independence.

Women are the ultimate organisers, society shapers and conscious money spenders on our lovely island. My wife is just an ordinary high school teacher, but she is a financial genius, and this is true of 90 per cent of Jamaican women.

Men, stop being sexist and be realistic and hand over the money matters to your partners and let prosperity, love, respect and decency flood our paradise land.

Jamaicans overseas, let us all invest in our gold mine, Jamrock.
