Disappointed with Hyacinth Bennett

THE EDITOR, Sir:

It was very surprising to see Mrs. Hyancinth Bennett giving the main speech at the Jamaica Labour Party's Area One conference in Kingston on April 9, 2006.

It was the same Hyacinth Bennett who condemned the JLP a couple years ago. It is the same Hyacinth Bennett who preached about garrison politics.

Mrs. Bennett seems willing to compromise her principles to gain a seat in the House of Representatives.

I would not vote for Hyacinth. The world knows that Bruce Golding is calling all his NDM troops into the JLP. It is time for people like Babsy Grange and Pearnel Charles to object to this. They were the same people who helped the PNP to defeat the JLP at the polls in 1997. Beware of those seeking to get rid of Faithful Labourites.
