FASHION AND apparel were featured as part of Jamaica's vibrant export offering at the Houston International Festival where Jamaica was the featured destination.

Kingsley Cooper, Pulse's CEO says his agency "is committed to producing the type of high quality international Jamaica fashion presentation in Houston that is typical of the best traditions of our fashion industry and the high standards attained with Caribbean Fashion Week."

LATEST DESIGNS

Pulse's International Agency presented two fashion shows to patrons last Saturday showing off designs from Cedella Marley's Catch a Fire line, Uzuri, Biggie, Barry Moncrieffe, Wright Style and the Mushroom.

The models included Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and Esquire cover girl, Carla Campbell and Vogue and Gucci model, Nadine Willis, as well as Cosmo, Essence and MAC models, Sunna Gottshalk and Nicole Gray.

The island's rich arts and cultural heritage was also highlighted during the festival, which is in its 35th year from April 22 to 30.

The country is the first Caribbean island to be featured at the event.
