Sandor Panton of Top5Jamaica.Com, in association with the Gleaner Online, guides you through what's new, cool and interesting on the Internet. From Jamaica to the wider Caribbean and the rest of the World, this is the 'Week on the Web'.
AOL.COM has teamed with weblogs.com to launch http://www.bloggingstocks.com, a network of blogs focusing on companies and stocks.
Each will be updated several times per day and will provide information that's specific to a popular widely-held U.S. public company.
The first companies covered are AOL parent Time Warner, Google, Yahoo, Apple Computer, EBay, Microsoft, Wal-Mart Stores and General Electric. They plan to add two new company blogs monthly.
It's widely known that many independent investors rely on financial blogs to gauge opinions and help make their investment decisions.
So, for bloggingstocks.com, AOL and Weblogs Inc. have drafted a staff of financial journalists, industry experts, and independent investors to author the single-stock/company focused blogs.
