'Zu-Zu Macca' hits century

WHEN THE curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. at the Little Theatre, Tom Redcam Avenue, today, it will mark the beginning of Zu-Zu Macca's 100th performance.

The current LTM National Pantomime, Zu-Zu Macca opened on Boxing Day last year and will close on Sunday, that performance beginning at 4:30 p.m. It plays tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Written by Barbara Gloudon with music by Grub Cooper, set and special effects are by Michael Lorde, costumes by Anya Gloudon and lighting by Michael McDonald. Trombonist Calvin 'Bubbles' Cameron leads the orchestra, with Pantomime regulars Faith Bucknor, Carlton Butler, Nadean Rawlins, Doreen King, Melward Morris, George Howard and Kevin Roach among the cast members.
