published: Friday | May 5, 2006

MONDAY WILL go down in Jamaica's movie-making history as the day when a film based on Jamaican themes was premiered and not a gunshot was heard. It did not feature drugs, gangs or dons either! It simply showcased another slice of our colourful Jamaican lifestyle - warts and all.

But that's for another story. Today we share through the lens of cameraman Winston Sill, some of the giltz and glamour that accompany such events. The world premiere of Glory to Gloriana was held at Carib 5 cinema in Cross Roads, and movie movers and shakers, actors, entertainers, fans and family members all came out to celebrate with producer Lennie Little-White.
