Finola Hughes is really returning to 'GH'
published: Saturday | May 6, 2006

BEGINNING MAY 12, Finola Hughes will reprise the role of Anna Devane on General Hospital, her first appearance on the series since 1992. Rumored to be coming back for months, Hughes attributed her return to, "Kimberly McCullough (Robin) convincing me to come back to Port Charles and whining a lot," she said jokingly. No word as to how long Hughes will stay put, as she juggles her time between hosting the Style Network's top rated How Do I Look? creating her own jewelry collection, Finola's Jewel Box, for QVC, and guesting periodically on the nighttime series Charmed, where she is slated to appear on that show's final episode May 21.

YOUNG AND RESTLESS

Young and Restless has signed Marisa Ramirez to the newly created role of Carmen Mesta, Jabot's public relations exec. The actress is best known to daytime viewers for her portrayal of Gia Campbell on General Hospital.

ALL MY CHILDREN

All My Children fans will be happy to see Eden Riegel (Bianca) make her third visit to Pine Valley, since she left the show last year. She'll come in to help Kendall, not coincidentally, in time for the May sweeps.

GUIDING LIGHT

Guiding Light welcomes back several former great ladies for a special Mother's Day episode this month. Jean Carol and Audrey Peters will resurrect their roles as Nadine and Sarah, most likely in a spiritual sense, as the characters are deceased.

It appears that Matt Metzger's days as Duke on One Life to Live are numbered. The show's current storyline is pulling Adriana and Rex ever closer, leaving Duke out in the cold.
