FATHER HO LUNG and Friends deliver another vitalising compilation with the Moses soundtrack.

The album focuses on various aspects that surrounded the Israerlites' trip out of bondage while being lead by Moses. The soundtrack has close to 40 minutes of original songs, beginning with the the cry of the Israelites to be delivered by God from the hands of slavery.

Moses alternates slower song with more upbeat songs ranging from contemporary Caribbean gospel rhythms to familiar reggae beats.

The 13-track diverse composition has something for all the musically inclined. The track Golden Calf truly brings out our local flavour with hit phrases like "Gi dem a run", "call dung di rain" and "thunda clap."

The soundtrack accomplishes the feat of telling the Moses story. Often, soundtracks seem disconnected and unrelated, but this one is right on target. They also saved the best for last with the track I Am Who I Am. The Afrocentric beat mixed with that of the Caribbean brings a perfect end to the CD.
