HIV exposure and 'de tape'
published: Wednesday | May 17, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

'NO INTEREST inna the tape' by Mr. Cooke - I completely agree with him. But one thing he left out is the under-age boys with the possible exposure to the HIV virus. Homosexuality is one thing but rape is something else. They need to find these boys or Jamaica will be in serious trouble with the spread of this virus.

There are many guys trying to act straight when they know they are gay as they come; women too. Raping kids should not be tolerated; that is why America is going to hell in a hand basket; 90 per cent abused become abusers too. This world has enough mentally sick individuals, why create more? Leave children with their innocence. Let a child be a child.

This is not the Jamaica I was raised and grew up in. What is happening to our country's moral ethic? Has our society completely lost our cultural upbringing in exchange for America's monkey see, monkey do? Bring back Jamaica!

I am, etc.,
