THE CERTIFICATE in Computer Fundamentals is a foundation programme that introduces participants with limited knowledge of computers to the basics of the computer.

The course includes the knowledge of the computer system and its components, the concept of the operating system i.e. Windows, the fundamentals of word processing (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and the Internet (two modules at $6,000.00 each). Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. The next course cycle for Computer Fundamentals begins June 12.

The Certificate in Introduction to Programming is an intermediate certificate programme that introduces the principles and theories applicable to writing computer programmes. The programming language used is Java, and is applied to object oriented programming, basic database technology, and basic Web applications (two modules at $12,000.00 each). Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 pm, and the next cycle begins on June 13.
