Moses (left), played by Wynton Williams, demands that Pharaoh (Karl Williams) let his people go in a scene from 'Moses Encore'.

Shelly-Ann Thompson, Freelance Writer

IT'S PRE-LABOUR Day weekend and there are events that the family can attend over the two days. The children will be on mid-term break come next week, so take advantage of the break they have before exams begin.

Father Richard Ho Lung and Friends production, Moses Encore, which ran in 2004 is back for two weekends, May 19-21 and 26-28.

The biggest Jamaican musical ever on stage, consisting of a 30-member group and an orchestra, Moses Encore is directed by Alwyn Bully and choreographed by Paula Shaw. There are six shows only, at the National Arena, the first was yesterday.

Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra (from Florida, United States of America) is complete with violin, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet trombone, percussion, and other instruments.

The mission is to develop music professionals through mentoring and performance, while fostering community interest in the arts. Take your children to see the production, while enforcing the story in their minds through the arts.

There will also be a fashion segment showcasing Indian wear. Games will be provided by Party King. Admission: $100 per adult, children free. The cost of food will be $300 per meal.
