MEMBER OF Parliament for West Kingston, Bruce Golding challenged students at the Denham Town High School in his constituency recently to remain focused as they chart a career path.

He told students that achieving a good career does not happen by chance, but it requires hard work, dedication and sacrifice to succeed.

Addressing the students at Careers' Day Expo 2006, Mr. Golding encouraged the youngsters to continue their education after graduating from high school. He said life-long learning has become a feature of globalisation, and as such Jamaicans should seize the opportunity to further their studies.

The West Kingston MP thanked the teachers for their efforts in teaching proper values, which will be important in the students' quest for success.
