Carrington leads delegation to Suriname

CARRINGTON

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA (CMC):

Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General, Edwin Carrington yesterday began a three-day official visit to Suriname.

A statement issued by the CARICOM Secretariat said that Carrington and his delegation would hold discussions with President Runaldo Venetiaan, his cabinet and Members of Parliament "regarding various aspects of Suriname's participation in the Community, in particular the CARICOM Single Market and Economy", which allows for the free movement of goods, skills, labour and services across the region.
