In the final played at York Oval last Sunday, Sandstar defeated Yallahs 4-2 on penalties to capture the trophy and $100,000.
The teams had earlier played to a 1-1 regulation and extra-time draw.
Damion Anderson scored for Sandstar in the 71st minute but Jerome Jamison equalised in the 88th minute for Yallahs.
During regulation time, both teams squandered several goal-scoring chances; Yallahs' Marlon Foster was the first to miss, failing to score the first half's easiest chance from inside the six-yard box.
EASY OPPORTUNITY
Upon the resumption, Vinel Kesto got an easy opportunity to put Sandstar in the lead but, after beating two defenders, he fired straight to Crique Williams in goal.
The opening goal came when Anderson's 25-metre kick proved too much for Williams to handle.
As the game progressed, Yallahs kept up the pressure and as full time drew closer, Sandstar made a few changes.
Yallahs were finally rewarded when Jamison scored from a mix-up in the penalty area.
In penalty shoot-out, Anderson, Tafari Edwards, Carlington Lamount and Roger Clarke scored for the winners, while Foster and Dushane Robinson netted for Yallahs.
CEO of Captain's Bakery, Horace Burrell, after the match said, "I am very happy with the discipline here this evening. I am going to continue supporting your league.
"I will be here and I will continue to support football in St. Thomas," said Burrell, who wished the winners luck in the Super League playoffs.
