CHRISTOPHER MILLER, alias 'Nunu Puss', the reputed west Kingston gunman who the police believe was implicated in the May 2005 murders of two policemen, Inspector Lascelles Walsh and District Constable Canute Brown, was apprehended yesterday.
The pencil-thin fugitive, along with three others, was picked up yesterday afternoon at a bar along Red Hills Road, St. Andrew. Up to last night, he was being interrogated by senior detectives at the Half-Way Tree Police Station.
Miller was on a shortlist of about six persons who the police said were wanted in connection with the killing of several policemen.
Inspector Walsh was murdered by a group of gunmen who pumped several bullets into his body. He was attacked seconds after he had stopped at the traffic light near Church and Port Royal streets in downtown Kingston on May 4.
District Constable Brown was also taken by surprise. The same car drove up to the Cross Roads Police Station and sprayed the building with bullets. Mr. Brown, who was sitting outside, was shot several times.
