Wedding day virgins

BEING A virgin on the wedding night seems to be a dying custom. But, believe it or not, virgins still exist. There are many individuals who still believe that they should not have sexual intercourse until marriage.

Being a virgin on your wedding day is not a big deal to many. If you are over 20 years old and still a virgin, it seems almost criminal. In Jamaica, a male virgin is usually referred to as a 'board man' (never had sex at all, not had sex in a while), or as being gay. For the females it is not that heart-wrenching. Some men pursue female virgins because they like the idea of being the first to take their wife's virginity.

DIFFERENT CULTURE

The same is not true for individuals in the Albanian/ Kosovar cultures. Under an Albanian traditional law dating from the 15th century, a husband may return his bride to her family if he discovers "she is not as she should be," on her wedding night. In 21st century
