(THE NATION) PORT-OF-SPAIN:
Prime Minister Patrick Manning has no regrets over the impending change of the Trinity Cross as this country's highest national honour.
In unapologetic tone Sunday, Manning stressed that in managing diversity, there must be inclusion of all ethnic groups and beliefs to ensure harmony.
He admitted that the name Trinity Cross did discriminate against people who were not Christians.
"Managing diversity, my dear friends, is not easy - you have to be careful how you tread ... it is too easy to go wrong."
