Colin Fagan to replace Robertson
published: Wednesday | June 7, 2006

SPANISH TOWN, St. Catherine:

COUNCILLOR COLIN Fagan of the Edgewater division has been selected to replace Dr. Paul Robertson as PNP candidate for South East St. Catherine in the next general election.

Fagan, who is also the Deputy Mayor of Portmore, was selected unopposed on Sunday at the Waterford High School. After the selection, he told The Gleaner that he is happy to run on the PNP's ticket in the next parliamentary election. "The endorsement that I have been given shows me that if I put my best effort to the fore, then I can do well for the party," he said.

Councillor Fagan said that he wants to build on the legacy of Dr. Robertson, Hugh Small, Ripton McPherson and all those who have represented the PNP in St. Catherine.
