Digicel surpasses 2,000-employee mark
MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS operator Digicel is now an employer of more than 2,000 staff throughout its 20 markets of operation. In the past year, Digicel has expanded from seven to 20 markets and doubled the number of its employees.

US stocks bounce after inflation data
NEW YORK (AP): STOCKS BOUNCED higher yesterday after two weeks of losses wiped out the year's gains in every major index. Investors shrugged off a higher reading on inflation that almost guaranteed another Federal Reserve interest rate increase.
