Bangshowbiz.com:

ANGELINA JOLIE was "terrified" while giving birth to her daughter.

The 'Tomb Raider' star has candidly spoken about the ordeal she went through during childbirth and her immediate worries after Shiloh Nouvel was delivered.

In an interview with America's CNN news network: "You know, because you're there for the birth, which I wasn't for my first two kids, you're just suddenly terrified that they're not gonna take a first breath.

"That was my whole focus. I just wanted to hear her cry."

Angelina, 31, already has two adopted children - 16-month-old Zahara and four-year-old Maddox - but Shiloh, born last month, is her first child with partner Brad Pitt.

The mum-of-three - who earns around $10 million per movie - also revealed how she gives a third of her income to charity.

She explained: "I have a stupid income for what I do."

Brad recently revealed the birth of his daughter was a "truly peaceful" event.

The 42-year-old star also thanked the citizens of Namibia for their hospitality.

He said: "They've been so gracious and made our stay here very special, and because of that we've had an incredible time with our family exploring the country, and had a truly peaceful birth of our daughter."
