I WAS away from
Jamaica for three weeks, and while I did try to read the two local
newspapers online, I was quite alarmed when the June 4 edition of
The Gleaner shouted the headline 'PREDATORS' over a photograph of
four headless young women.
Restorative justice A step in the right direction
RESTORATIVE
JUSTICE represents a step forward in dealing with crime. The existing
justice system does not treat the unforeseen factors that lead someone
to commit a crime and this is where restorative justice can make
a difference.
