GIFT to transform Jamaican society
published: Friday | July 7, 2006

AN INTERNATIONAL BODY, the Global Institute for Transformation (GIFT), is to start doing work in Jamaica. GIFT is a learning institution that is committed to an enlightened global civilisation and which aims to to promote peace, love, prosperity and transformation for individuals, families, organisations.

PROGRAMME GOAL

The primary goal is to transform the way people relate, behave and interact with each other, the environment and, most importantly, to themselves, the organisation said. Since 2005 GIFT has been making its mark across the world and has now set its sights on transformation in Jamaica.

Courtney A. Kazembe is leader behind GIFT, and has experience in a range of disciplines. He is an accomplished lawyer, entrepreneur and author. Kazembe explained that "GIFT is for people interested in transformation, enlightenment and self-mastery, as well as people who also have a desire to be leaders and role models of living an enlightened life. Individuals who are not prepared or willing to facilitate this transformation will not be able to achieve the change that is necessary."

GIFT will be hosting a series of transformational activities. This Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9, a team will be at Eden Gardens in Kingston from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, August 12 to 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., also at Eden Gardens.
