Portmore JUTC route changes
published: Monday | July 17, 2006

EFFECTIVE TODAY, the following routes will use the Portmore Causeway to enter and exit Portmore at all times:

Routes 1, 1A, 4, 8, 8A, 12, 12A, 16, 17Ax, 18, 18A, 19A, 20.

Routes 3, 3A, 17, 17A and 20A will continue to use the Mandela Highway from Mondays to Fridays from 6:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. These routes will use the causeway during off peak and weekends.

Passengers should note that neither route numbers, origins nor destinations will change on any route.

LEAVING PORTMORE VIA THE CAUSEWAY:

The last bus stop exiting Portmore before the causeway is on Dawkins Drive

The first bus stop after the causeway going to Half-Way Tree is just after the Railway Line on Marcus Garvey Drive (Beside CMP).

The first bus stop after the causeway going downtown is on Marcus Garvey Drive beside the Tinson Pen Aerodrome.

ENTERING PORTMORE VIA THE CAUSEWAY:

The last bus stop coming from downtown is on Marcus Garvey Drive before reaching Ninth Avenue, Kingston Wharf.

The last bus stop coming from Half-Way Tree is at the corner of Marcus Garvey Drive and Ashenheim Road.

The first bus stop after the causeway is at the Portmore Mall lay-by.
