The following are feedback letters to our Roving With Lalah feature published yesterday.
Dear Robert:
I just wanted to respond to your article about the water at Bath Fountain in St. Thomas.
I was born in Bath in the early 1980's. Since I was a child I have heard stories and seen result of this water, it's no joke. Even though I migrated to America when I was young, I go home every year and Bath Fountain is my first stop. I consider this a place where you can leave your problems and sicknesses and go home feeling lighter and healed.

Dear Robert:
I just finished reading your article on the Bath Fountain.
I grew up in Bath. I want to share with you a short story about my experience with Bath Fountain.
One Sunday my friend and I decided to visit the fountain. I ran home in a rush and stepped on a rusty nail in the process. The cut must have been at least an inch deep. Although I was hurt I did manage to make it to the fountain, took a bath and relaxed for a while. The mile or so walk back home was long and very painful, unbearable to be exact.
I was in high school at the time and had a test the next day. I pretty much wrote off going to school. However, when I woke up the next day I felt well enough to make it to school and I did. I felt no pain the next day and was fully healed in a couple of days. I considered it a small miracle because I
suffered no ill effects later on, did not visit a doctor or applied any ointment or anything.
Thanks for bringing to light the healing effects of the Bath Fountain.
I am, etc.,
