Emirates connecting Asia to US Gulf and Caribbean

Emirates Shipping Line, in association with Seafreight Jamaica Limited, today launches its Asia Gulf Express (AGX) service that links Asia to the United States and the Caribbean.

The port rotation weekly services are:

• Import to Kingston: Shanghai, Ningbo, Busan, Colon (Panama);

• Import to Kingston: Tampa (U.S.A.), Mobile (U.S.A.), Houston (U.S.A.);

• Export from Kingston: Kingston (Jamaica), Tampa (U.S.A.), Mobile (U.S.A.), Houston (U.S.A.), Kingston, Shanghai.

In announcing the new service, Vikas Khan, CEO of Emirates Shipping Line, said: "We are pleased to announce the launch of a service that will provide a direct connection for our customers linking East Asia to the major commercial and trading hubs in the U.S. Gulf ports."
