On Monday, pre-Emancipation Day, the jubilee goes into overdrive . "This is the big night," says Ms. Braham. Activities starts at 8:00 p.m. and admission is $800 for adults.
"The Emancipation Jubilee is an opportunity to expose the children to the African culture's retention in our heritage," says Ms. Braham. "Come with your enamel mug and let us have chocolate tea together," she continues. There is a gate prize of a car.
