LETTER OF THE DAY - Mangoes seen as lucrative export market
"There is a lucrative export market for mangoes in Europe," according to the chief executive officer of Seprod Limited, Byron Thompson, as the company considers exporting mangoes now grown at its recently acquired 2,300-acre Belvedere farm in St. Thomas.

Whipped into submission
It is frightfully appalling to witness scandal after scandal, the results of systemic corruption at the highest levels, being exposed in a nation that prides itself on being politically sophisticated.


Noteworthy - Performance pay
The MPs shouldn't get a pay increase. They haven't been doing a job worthy of one. I agree with Audley Shaw that a performance-based salary package should be implemented ... maybe then we'd get some results ...
