Montego Bay's most eligible bachelor, Leroy 'Dougo' Dunkley, exchanged vows recently with long-time friend Sameerah Mateen in a private ceremony at the Sunset at the Palms, in Negril, recently.

The ceremony was performed by Rev'd Winston Barrett and witnessed by close family and friends.

The bride, in an ivory silk gown, carried a bouquet of cymbidium orchids and ivory rosebuds. Maid-of-honor, her sister, Ruscel Reader, wore an aquamarine silk dress with cut-work embroidery at the hemline. Junior attendant, the groom's daughter, Eden Dunkley, wore a powder blue silk taffeta dress.

Guests flew in from California, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Florida for the very elegant occasion. Emceed by Weston Haughton, who was also the wedding coordinator, Haughton spoke of the long friendship of the couple that after so many years made their decision for a lifetime of togetherness.

The bride's son Tarus Mateen, sent prayers to the Dunkleys from Paris, France. Daughter, Dominique, sent congratulations from Germany. The groom's son, Julian Dunkley sent love and congratulations from Panama and the other children, Roy Mateen and Radji Mateen sent best wishes from California and Philadelphia.

The evening was blessed with heavy showers, but that did not dampen the spirit as guest feasted on a sumptuous buffet and toasted the couple for a lifetime of happiness.
