JUTC BUS route changes will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m on Wednesday.
All other routes and terminal points of the JUTC service will operate as normal.
Passengers should not wait at bus stops on Duke Street, Church Street or Upper King Street as these stops will not be served. North Parade, East Parade Church Street and Duke Street bus stops move west. All bus bays on South Parade and West Parade will operate as normal.
Buses for the following routes that normally terminate at North Parade will park on Orange Street between Barry Street and Beckford Street. Routes: 61, 77, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 89, 97, 98 and 99.
Buses for the following routes that normally terminate at Church Street will park on West Parade near Manhattan House: routes 81, 88. Route 76 buses that normally terminate at Duke Street will now park on West Parade near Manhattan House.
Route 47
Route 47 will go downtown using a slightly changed evening route. Lyndhurst Road, left at Retirement Road, right at Studio 1 Boulevard (Brentford Road), right at Slipe Road, left at Torrington Bridge, to pass Wolmer's Boys' School, right at National Heroes Circle, left at East Street, right at Port Royal Street, right at King Street to South Parade.
Cross Roads to Downtown
All buses going from Cross Roads to downtown will have route changes to bypass North and East Parade.
Buses from Caledonia Avenue will go from Marescaux Road to National Heroes Circle, left at East Street, right at Port Royal Street, right at King Street to South Parade.
Buses from Slipe Road will go left at Torrington Bridge, to pass Wolmer's Boys'' School, right at National Heroes Circle, left at East Street, right at Port Royal Street, right at King Street, to South Parade.
Eastbound Buses
All buses going east from downtown to Windward Road and beyond will travel up Orange Street, right at North Street, right at East Street, left at East Queen Street to Victoria Avenue onwards. Routes: 61, 77, 81, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 97, 98 and 99.
Staff members will be at Parade downtown to assist travellers with finding their correct bus stops. Buses will return to their normal routes after 7:30 p.m.
