The Editor, Sir:

Thanks for the comprehensive and balanced ways in which articles are presented in The Gleaner. I write in observation of the fact that a dimension of reporting that may be helpful, especially to international readers, is that regarding how the reading public may contribute to the alleviation of certain problems. For instance, in the issue of needed school classroom spaces being addressed by the Ministry of Education, some information could be shared regarding the unit cost for a student space, or a complete classroom. The article could also direct prospective donors regarding how to contact relevant ministries, and provide assurances that gifts will be monitored as they are applied to particular projects.

I am, etc.,

Rev. HECTOR J. GRANT, Sr.
