Miss Lou is dead and now buried. I know that many lotto buyers are going to use her as a rake and there is nothing wrong with this. It will be interesting to see how the lotto balls will roll in the next few days. The talk on everybody's lips is that our female Prime Minister should just add two more National Heroes to the existing line up, Miss Lou and Mass Bob. They claim that the society needs new heroes like these two at this time who the youths and the world can identify with. Let us look at Nanny, for example; Miss Lou is at a higher level than her just like the work of Bob Marley surpasses Sam Sharpe.
The hero is not a matter to take as a joke. It was debated in most bars when men were watching the funeral of Miss Lou. One man, who is a young parent, said that he will never vote again, if his wish does not not materialize. According to him, the only role models that the youths are looking up to are Bounty Killer and Beenie Man. He categorized these deejays in the vein as P.J. Patterson and Eddie Seaga. He stated that Bounty's political colour for his party is black and he feels that Beenie should just select purple. He feels that the only redemption to counteract the work of these four men is communism. He claims that his five-year-old daughter is trying to do the dutty wine and he feels that he should go to his Creator now. The best complaint is that he felt that bars should be closed on Sundays. I hope you can see that we need some heroes who can uplift the vibe of the nation.
The Bible is at it again. The war is on between Lebanon and Israel. Israel claims that they are after the 'One Order Gang' and not the people of Tawes Pen. These gangsters do not wear uniforms so the civilians end up getting the bombs. Is is right to invade another country and destroy its infrastructure because you are looking for criminals? Is this now the last days? Is Israel the real aggressor? Do our Jamaican preachers support Israel? Is it because Israel is God's chosen people that the heathen should be slaughtered? Is there no mercy? Is the world now divided between Judaism and Islam?
You wake up in the morning and you hear that 21 Britons were arrested in a plot to bomb planes in flights from London to the United States. Who is the real terrorist? Thousands of commuters had to wait in terror to go home or to do their business because of politics and religion. I am now scared to take planes to these large western cities. It is easier you get me to South America or Africa than to Miami. You never know when we will start to encounter the suicide bomber this part of Earth. Please remember that these terrorists are now home-bred. It is a sad world. It will have to take Jan Foresight winning the jackpot to cheer me up.
