Back-to-school hassle
published: Sunday | August 13, 2006

An anxious crowd flocks the Sangster's Book Store booth at the Back-to-School Trade Fair held at the Chinese Benevolent Association on Old Hope Road yesterday.

The event, organised by Concepts Promotion, provided a one-stop centre for all back-to-school shopping. Shoppers hustled to cash in on bargains on textbooks, khaki uniforms, school shoes and other items.

According to organisers of the event, close to 5,000 persons turned out on the first day of the event. The fair continues today.
