Major traffic congestion
published: Thursday | August 17, 2006

The Editor, Sir:

I use this medium to bring to the attention of the Government the daily traffic congestion along the Constant Spring Road, in the vicinity of the tax office and the Immaculate Conception High School. I have reasons to travel that route daily, and it is impossible to reach your destination on time, due to the bumper to bumper traffic.

Seeing our Government is going around making beautiful highways, isn't there some way they could fit it into the budget to have an alternative route to get to Stony Hill from Half-Way Tree, downtown etc? Or better yet, have an overpass.

What about it Mr. Minister of Works, or it's not near enough to a community like Portmore to make a toll route? How do the middle class people who live in those hills get to work on time? I am sure some of our Members of Parliament reside in that area also. Please, do something.

I am, etc.,
