Reconstruction needed
published: Thursday | August 17, 2006

The Editor, Sir:

The historic courthouse in the town of Port Antonio that was damaged by fire about three years ago, continues to be an eyesore to the residents of this once prestigious town. We were optimistic when we were informed that it would have been rehabilitated by the National Commercial Bank (NCB) but to date it has only added to the decay of my beloved parish capital.

Can the person in charge of this project inform us of the start-up date of this project?

We the residents of the town of Port Antonio would like to see our town return to its days of prestige, so kindly make every effort to expedite the rehabilitation of this structure.

I am, etc.,
