ST LUCIA: Search on for Brit
published: Friday | August 18, 2006

CASTRIES, St. Lucia (CMC):

The British High Commission in St. Lucia is assisting police in the hunt for a British citizen who has gone missing here since last week Thursday.

Sixty-one-year-old Patricia Anne Lee, who has been living in St. Lucia for over a decade, was last seen at her Cap Estate residence on the island's north coast.

Police have been searching the wooded area surrounding her secluded home. They said Lee is a diabetic and would require special medication which was left behind at her home.

"There was no sign of a struggle at her house which was left wide open and everything was there that ought to have been there, including her wallet and keys on the table and her shoes by the door," said Jan Lewis, a close friend.
