Winning start for General Accident

Still in the early rounds, the Business House Netball Associa-tion's divisional league continues today at the Leila Robinson courts with matches in the Intermediate A and B leagues and the Junior league.

The first set of matches at 5:45 will see Cable and Wireless 'B' facing Aerotel, ISSA Transport playing Wray & Nephew, Jamaica Money Market Brokers against Maritime and NEM Insurance versus Azans.

At 6:45 Jamaica Urban Transit Company challenges National Water Commission 'A', STATIN tackle Bank of Nova Scotia 'B', Kraft Foods shoot against COOL Petroleum and National Housing Trust play Wisynco.

In the first set of Senior league matches played on Saturday, last year's champion teams re-established their territory. Defending champions General Accident demolished National Commercial Bank 'A' 75-22, runners-up Bank of Nova Scotia 'A' massacred Sugar Company 70-23, Jamaica Broilers won Cable and Wireless 'A' 53-28 and RBTT beat Department of Correctional Services 45-16.

In the Junior league matches First Caribbean defeated Wray & Nephew 22-18 while Continental Baking beat Aerotel 27-15. The only Intermediate 'B' game saw National Housing Development Corporation falling 11-21 to National Water Commission 'B'.

At the end of the Intermediate 'A' matches National Water Commission 'A' beat National Housing Trust 26-19, Bank of Jamaica ran over Air Jamaica 32-21 and HEART Trust were defeated 15-20 by Kraft Foods. Jamaica Defence Force and Tropicair ended 27-all.
