It is back to school again. This is one of the roughest times of the year, especially for men with a large number of children. This is also a time when you will see an increase in the number of cases in the Family Court.
The cost to send children to school is high and this is where remittance plays an important part. Some parents finally understand that education is an investment like any other. The choice becomes confusing with an increasing number of independent schools than those provided by the state.
It is now accepted that in certain centres it is best to send your children to a prep school, especially to get the right attention for GSAT students. This is indeed sad, and it is one of the reasons why most men are going to buy more Lotto this week.
There is $19 million out there and this is a good little investment to start a little prep school.
Sad period
This is also a sad period of the year. Teachers, police, doctors and nurses are up in arms to press home their demands for salary hikes.
This is a large percentage of the public sector. It makes you wonder if these groups are mischievous or if things are genuinely tough. Elections are near. I thought there was a second public sector Memorandum of Understanding. I totally agree with Senator Dwight Nelson. Some people act as if Government has lots of money and the collection of taxes is on target.
A budget is a numbers game. If you make a budget with certain calculations and the demand for salaries is much higher than predicted, then something must suffer. I think for the nation, these groups should work out a compromise with the Government and move on. I understand that things are tough, but for those who are paying taxes from the large population, we do not need any more pressure.
What is happening with domestic violence in rural communities? This is the second time in months that I know of someone trying to kill his wife. This time, the lady is dead. The weapon of choice was the gun in both cases, and both
incidents relate to the upper middle classes. (Is there a middle class still in Jamaica?)
Money is the god for most policemen. Not every money man should get a gun licence. The community will tell you that the man is full of hype, too cantankerous, too arrogant, too ignorant and 'boasy'. If you can shoot someone whom you are supposed to love, what about the person whom you hate? This is the justification for the large crowd at the death scene.
Everyone stated that the lady was nice and the whole community came to support her, and even to do some lynching. The only reason why the house was not set on fire is that her body was on the inside.
This is a hot case and it is of interest to lotto players with hot blood. My sympathy goes out to the children, since there is no mother or father.
Congrats Beenie
Beenie Man is now a married man. Congrats to the couple. I hope that Moses will be an example to the other deejays and let them get a life with a wife. You cannot be a player for life. No woman will want you in your latter days when you have no use. Ninja Man will be tying the knot shortly and I hope the others will follow. Some of these deejays act as if women are not angels to love or cherish. Please stop treating women like vehicles.
The numbers for last Saturday were 12, 16, 17, 18, 25, 29 and the bonus ball of 13. There were three consecutive numbers of 16, 17 and 18. The number 17 was repeated from the previous week. The numbers for last Wednesday were 1, 2, 10, 14, 31,33 and the bonus ball of 24. The consecutive numbers were 1 and 2. I predict that this jackpot will rise.
Meanwhile, please remember that Ms. Debbie is on the ocean. I notice some other little ones are trying to show their fists. Gatlin and his Americans are using all the tricks of the trade to cover their shame. Asafa, if you ever get injured, go and sit down 'ah yu yard and rest and lef out certain medicine'. You are a country man and 'nuff bush doctor deh bout'.
Please run and join the Lotto line.
